Bio

Christina started her career in the advertising industry working with words and pictures. Slowly, gradually, but never quietly, the pictures began to shadow the words and soon her artwork showed up in all sorts of scenarios. From handmade cards and professional portraits to fashion accessories and home decor. Her first fine art exhibit showcased her Sumi ink paintings, a collection of stark arresting portraits, and opened the door to works in full blown color, inspiring even dreamier figurative aspirations. Beyond distilling down personal essence, she portrays her paintings more like little lush dreamscapes, complete with private reflections and spontaneous flashes of humanity. Christina challenges creativity by working on various surfaces including paper, wood, cork & canvas. Although she fashions her life from many creative pursuits from cooking to design, her passion for painting transcends them all.

Christina's paintings have been described as ethereal, exotic, Impressionist and European.

Favorite Quotes from Collectors and Guests:

I like the way you handle paint...

The faces look real, moving, breathing...

They're so different...in a good way...

They're so...French...

They leave me with something to think about...like what's she thinking?
